Future State Park - Engagement Survey

The Village of Trumansburg and the Towns of Covert and Ulysses formed the Three Falls Local Development Corporation (LDC) with the goal of ensuring public access to Cayuga Lake, along with increased opportunity for recreation, events, and local programming.

This 93-acre site (location shown in map above) features lakefront access, nature trails, vistas, and more. This survey is one part of the public engagement process that will help inform the Master Plan design for the site.

Thank you for participating - we are excited to hear your thoughts!
1.Where do you live?
2.Have you ever been to the future State Park site?
  • If NO, skip to Question 3.
  • If YES, do you have any fond memories you can share with us?
3.How many times per year (on average) do you visit and use State Parks near you?
4.If there were no constraints (money, maintenance, etc.), what activities and experiences would you like to have at the future State Park?
5.Do you have any concerns about the future State Park?
6.Is there anything else you want to share with us about the development of the future State Park?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR INPUT!
If you can, please join us at our upcoming community event on Saturday, September 27, from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Trumansburg Farmers Market (69 W Main Street) where we will have activities that will help shape the future state park. Food will also be available for purchase from Ice Cream Bar.
