2026 INDIANA HOUSING CONFERENCE SESSION REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The Indiana Housing Conference is pleased to accept session proposals for our conference on September 2 & 3 at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown.

Proposals should address the following topics as they relate to affordable housing: development, infrastructure, demographics, transportation, education, health care, financing, quality of place, tax issues, legislative changes, operations, deal structure, compliance, quality of life, workforce housing, federal regulations, childcare/adult daycare, construction, rural housing, sustainability, energy efficiency, davis bacon, etc.

Selection Criteria
Successful submissions will: (1) focus on the importance of what that makes affordable housing work, (2) provide timely insight into the covered topic, and (3) have a clear learning objective for the attendees. We understand that our industry is diverse, and welcome submissions that may not fit perfectly into the topics identified above.

When in doubt, please submit! Any new, innovative ideas that would positively impact affordable housing in Indiana are welcomed and encouraged.

For example, host the session in one round of breakouts on Wednesday then again in another round of break outs on Thursday. Often times we find popular sessions having standing room only - this would help alleviate this issue.
