Thank you for your interest in the possibility of accessing high-speed fiber internet to your area. It will be most effective to complete this survey on a desktop computer.

Broadband internet refers to last-generation technology that can support general online activity, while high-speed fiber internet refers to next-generation technology that supports symmetrical upload and download speeds and potential "gigabit" (1000 Mbps) speeds.

High-speed fiber internet currently has limited availability in Summit County through private internet service providers (ISPs) at relatively high costs. The county is considering a new fiber infrastructure installation to provide the fastest possible internet access at a very reasonable price.

The purpose of this survey is to understand the existing needs, challenges, pricing, and user experiences of internet customers in Summit County. Having your most recent internet bill available while completing this survey will be helpful.

This survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete, and your input is important as Summit County explores strategies for high-speed fiber internet within your area.
