Your expertise and feedback matter!

Thank you for providing feedback to this draft position statement. We understand that surveys provide only one possible way to respond. You may also share your reflections by emailing mharrill@naeyc.org or by posting comments in the Hello community.

Position statements are an important tool that NAEYC uses to build understanding and support for significant, often controversial issues related to early childhood education. This position statement is a revision of NAEYC’s Position Statement on Professional Preparation for Early Childhood Educators.

This is the initial public draft of the statement. It was developed with the input of a workgroup appointed by the NAEYC Governing Board under the leadership of the Board's Early Learning Systems committee. Members of the workgroup and committee will consider all of the feedback submitted via this survey and other means later this summer. Please note that this initial draft does not include citations; these will be incorporated later. A final draft will be released for a second round of comment in early fall before it is considered for formal adoption by the Governing Board by the end of the year.

As you respond to these questions, you will be referring back to the position statement itself, so please ensure that you have read it fully prior to responding to this survey!

Thank you for your review and comments. This survey will be open until Friday, November 16, 2018.
