We recently welcomed five young javelinas to their new home at the Desert Museum. This stellar squadron consists of two females and three males. Now that they've settled into life on the Desert Loop Trail, we're asking you to help come up with creative names for them. Their names can simply be five complementary words/names, or they can represent the fact that they're a quintet (think of famous fivesomes or other wonderful things that come in fives). Get creative! Have fun!
The prize? It also comes in fives! Winner gets five Desert Museum admission tickets and five tasting tickets to attend our Cool Summer Nights event, Taste the Desert (July 25, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.).

Write your name ideas in the comment box – please write five names per single submission. Finalists will then be put to a vote by the public. You have until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8 to submit your name ideas. Then, we will share the finalists and you will get to vote on the winning names the following week.
