UNOOSA Space4Women 2026 Survey

The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) has launched the last phase of their Space4Women Landmark Study to understand and measure the participation of women in the public and private space sectors at global level. This research follows the first phase Landmark Study published in 2024 and second phase Landmark Study published in 2025 with the objective to finalize the methodology of the overall study for longitudinal tracking over time.

Through this survey, we are seeking updated information on women and men's representation in public and private sector space organizations across different functions and roles, including in leadership positions. We are also seeking to understand measures taken by organizations such as policies or interventions that aim to advance inclusion and equality. This data will be used to track changes over time, through comparison with earlier waves of data collected. Your organisation will contribute to important global knowledge on personnel and policies in the space sector and help us identify best ways to support organizations going forward.

We will collect participating organization's names, but results will only be shared in aggregate at a country/regional/global level and no data will be linked specifically back to your organization.

If you have any questions regarding this survey, or need help filling it in, please reach out to Dr Elise Stephenson, Space4Women consultant at the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs, at elise.stephenson@un.org / +61 409 210 131.

Thank you for filling in this survey and contributing to this important study. Responses are sought by 17 April 2026 and the survey should only take 10 minutes to complete.
