Each CPRA Section provides one $650 Section Scholarship annually.

These scholarship funds may be used to cover professional development expenses related to the recipient's work in the Parks & Recreation field.


To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be actively involved in the Section and be a CPRA member in good standing. These scholarships can be used both for CPRA events and non-CPRA training. These scholarship funds may be used to cover professional development expenses related to the recipient's work in the Parks & Recreation field.


Funds will be disbursed on a reimbursement basis unless otherwise approved by CPRA. If paying upfront for a professional development opportunity is a barrier, please notify the CPRA office at cpra@cpra-web.org. Scholarship funds must be used by December 15, 2026.


The deadline to apply for a scholarship is is Friday, March 6th at 5pm.
