The NWIFCA Byelaw 3 (Cockle and Mussel Permit) Minimum Use Policy is set to introduce a minimum use threshold for all Byelaw 3 permit holders.
The policy details that members will set the thresholds dependent on the season's fishing opportunities. Any fisher that falls below these thresholds will have their permit removed. An appeals process will be available for exceptional circumstances.
The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback on the proposed Minimum Use Policy.
