About the application
Thank you for your interest in the Trans Leaders Academy.
This application form is part of the selection process and should take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. We encourage you to answer each question thoughtfully and in your own words. Your responses will help us understand your leadership experience, motivation, and the leadership commitment you wish to develop throughout the Academy.
All applications should be submitted by Monday 27 July 2026 at 12:00 CEST.
About the programme
The Trans Leaders Academy is TGEU's flagship leadership programme for trans and gender-diverse leaders. It is a one-year leadership journey rooted in lived experience and diverse movement contexts, supporting leaders to navigate complexity, build resilience, and strengthen collective action.
Throughout the programme, participants work on a leadership commitment grounded in their own organisation, community, or movement, while learning alongside a diverse cohort of peers through mentorship, reflection, and applied leadership practice.
OVERVIEW
Cohort: 15 participants
Duration: One year (2026–2027)
Programme components:
Virtual cohort launch and welcome session
Part A: Three-day in-person residential training (21–23 October 2026)
Peer exchange and co-creation sessions.
Mentoring with experienced movement practitioners
Part B: Three-day advanced in-person training (2027).
