Poster Competition:
*This application is for those medical students/research fellows/residents who are NOT current Texas Dermatology Residents*

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the amounts of $500, $300 and $200 as well as certificates.

REMINDER: ONLY Texas Dermatology Resident Members are eligible to win. Medical Students & Research Fellows are welcome to participate.
For the last two years the TDS has had a record number of posters submitted. Because of this, the TDS has printed and displayed all Resident posters at meetings but has had an alternate method for presenting medical students/fellows/non-Texas derm resident posters. We will know closer to the meeting date if medical students/fellows will be displayed in an online only format for Spring 2024.
Regardless of whether or not posters are printed or displayed virtually, there will be a poster fee associated with it. No refunds will be issued.

Application Deadline: March 22, 2024
Abstract Paragraph & Poster PDF Deadline: March 29, 2024

The poster presentations should present scientific information utilizing narrative material, photographs, charts, diagrams, etc.
Just like in the past few years, you will submit a PDF of your poster. This is typically made in PowerPoint and needs to be a high-resolution PDF and HORIZONTAL.
Your poster PDF will be uploaded on the TDS website and printed for attendees to view during breaks and in their free time and breaks at the conference.

Poster PDF needs to be emailed to laura.madole@texasdermatology.org by March 29th
**Please make sure you complete your poster in full with photos, charts, and diagrams. We will only accept the FIRST submission of your poster and will be unable to make changes once submitted to laura.madole@texasdermatology.org**
Announcement of the winners will be on Saturday, April 20th during the Business Luncheon.

Abstract Paragraph:
All presenters must submit a PDF abstract that is typewritten, double-spaced, one page with 12 point Times New Roman font for the abstract booklet.
This abstract does not have to include sources. If the sources fit within the one page limit, then they can be added.
The paragraph needs to be emailed to laura.madole@texasdermatology.org by March 29th.
Please see instructions for the poster sizing in the guidelines at www.texasdermatology.org under the Resident's Page.

*You may enter both competitions but the topics must be different.*
*You can ONLY submit ONE abstract for a poster & ONE abstract for a podium. Topics HAVE to be completely different for the poster & the podium.*

**The TDS goes off of the honor system and appreciates first authors submitting their work and not switching author orders for the sake of the competition.**
