56th and Chambers Landscape Transformation: Quick Community Survey

The E. 56th Avenue and Chambers Road Landscape Transformation Project in Montbello proposes to convert existing non-functional bluegrass turf to a lower-water native grass prairie, including some areas of wildflowers and shrubs. The project area runs along the south side of E. 56th Ave. between Peoria St. and Chambers Rd., and along the west side of Chambers Rd. from E. 56th to E. 40th Ave (see map below). The project will include modifications to the existing irrigation to support water conservation. Learn more about this project and stay involved at the project website. This short survey will help inform the project design.
