Call for Proposals for Best Practices 2024

The Virginia Association for Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences, Inc. (VATFACS) invites you to sign up to present at the SUPERHEROES Best Practices which will take place on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Sign up to share your best practices with other FCS professionals.
How it Works:
Rotations are set up so that the presenter is at a round table that can accommodate 8 participants. The presenter has fifteen minutes to present their best practice (activity, lesson, strategy, or project). Every twenty minutes participants will rotate to another presentation.

This is an excellent opportunity to network! In recognition of preparation and presentation time involved, Best Practices presenters will receive documentation for 15 re-certification hours.
Rotations will allow participants an opportunity to learn about a variety of best practices in a short period of time.
Participants may choose to visit up to six rotations.
Bring your laptops fully charged. Provide hand-outs when possible. There will be a place to upload documents to share with participants electronically.
This year’s theme is "I'm an FCS Educator. What's Your Superpower?"

Please submit this application by June 1. 2024.
