Fellow Directors,
Being a county director, while incredibly rewarding, can be a tough job. It is both important and inspiring to take the time to acknowledge and honor outstanding leadership in our profession. Thank you for taking the time to nominate a peer to be considered for the 2026 Outstanding CDJFS Director of the Year!
All nominations must be submitted by at least one current CDJFS Director, though staff members may contribute to the nomination narrative with supporting statements. Those currently serving in an elected officer position are not eligible for nomination. Detailed instructions regarding the nomination process are available here. The Selection Committee, comprised of the OJFSDA elected officers as well as previous award winners still serving as director, will review all nominations and select one nominee to receive the annual award.
Nominations must be submitted by Monday, November 2, 2026, to be considered. The award will be presented to the selected recipient during the annual recognition banquet Friday, December 11, 2026, at The Ohioan Hotel and Conference Center following the General Session meeting.
