Kia ora tātou, and for those of you who completed our earlier survey in April, kia ora anō!
We are continuing to see the impacts of COVID-19 on Auckland's creative community, made evident in the first lockdown and with repercussions well beyond, and then only to re-emerge in the most recent lockdown.
We would like your help to understand the ongoing impacts of COVID on your creative practice, how you have responded to COVID, and the support you need now. We will collate your feedback to help inform responses in the Auckland region and nationally. We will share the survey results with Creative New Zealand and Ministry of Culture and Heritage.
Your responses will be confidential, and we won't attribute anything you write to you. In particular, any financial information will be treated in the strictest confidence.
We understand this is a difficult time, and we appreciate your time and thoughts. Thank you for taking the time.
The strengthening of the ecosystem that makes Tāmaki Makaurau a city alive with creativity will be the primary focus of Te Taumata Toi-A-Iwi over the coming years. We want to create a stronger sector voice, build a clearer understanding of the sector’s needs, and encourage a strategic and collaborative response to those needs.
