About Innovation Catalyst

To help Central Ohio nonprofit organizations create innovative, impactful and more sustainable initiatives, United Way of Central Ohio has partnered with CauseImpact to offer a premier cohort consulting package to a select number of agencies. Each participating agency will develop a new initiative, designed to increase mission impact while diversifying revenue. They will build a complete business plan, pro forma financial projections and a formal pitch for their idea.

Applications are now open for our 2024 Central Ohio cohort. This nine-month program will commence with an in-person kickoff session for all participants on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Participating organizations will work together and separately through workshops, individual team meetings, coaching and group sessions to develop launch-ready plans for ventures and social enterprises that create new revenue streams.

Each team will pitch their new concept to a panel of funders and experts on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Eligibility: Any registered nonprofit organization whose primary service area is Central Ohio is invited to apply.

Innovation Catalyst Grant:
Through the generosity of United Way of Central Ohio, along with critical funding support from The Columbus Foundation, IGS Energy, and other generous sponsors, each participating agency will receive an Innovation Catalyst Grant of $13,125.00, to help fund their participation in the program, and will be responsible for a 1:3 grant match of $4,375.
