Dear Family Child Care Educator,
If you could tell policymakers, funders, and child care leaders one thing about family child care, what would it be? We want to hear it directly from you.
NAFCC invites you to participate in the 2026 National Family Child Care Survey. Your experiences help us better understand the realities of family child care today and strengthen efforts to advocate for the resources, policies, and supports that educators need.
This year, we've made the survey shorter and more focused. We removed most questions about NAFCC programs and services so we can spend more time learning about you, your program, your business, and the opportunities and challenges you face every day. Your responses will help tell the story of family child care across the country.
The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
Tip: You can fill out the survey all at once, or start it now and complete it later but either way please make sure you click to submit when you are finished.
All responses are confidential and will be reported only in aggregate form. We may use quotes from survey responses in reports, presentations, or advocacy materials, but any identifying information will be removed before publication.
As a thank you for participating, NAFCC members who complete the survey may enter a drawing to win a $100 gift card (drawings will be held weekly), and one of two grand prizes ($250).
