The City of Springfield is gathering community input as it considers how potential data centers should be evaluated and what policies, standards, and protections should apply.
This survey is not a vote on a specific development proposal. It is intended to help the City understand community perspectives, concerns, priorities, and expectations related to potential data center development.
The survey should take approximately six to eight minutes. It is open through 11:59 p.m. Central Time on September 22, 2026.
Responses will be reviewed alongside feedback gathered during the City’s public input sessions. Results will be reported in summary form to the public via the City's website in the coming weeks. Please do not include your name or other identifying information in written comments.
This is an open public-input survey. It is not a statistically representative poll of all Springfield residents.
