Thank you for taking part in the public consultation for the Exposure Draft of the Waste Topic Methodology.
The Methodology is being developed under the governance of the Impact Value Standards Board (IVSB) an independent committee established and managed by the Capitals Coalition. Under the Due Process Protocol, formal methodology statements undergo through public exposure prior to final approval by the IVSB.
The IVSB invites feedback on the proposals in the Exposure Draft, particularly on the questions set out in this survey. All feedback will be reviewed impartially. Comments are most helpful if they:
a) address the questions as stated;
b) specify the paragraph(s) to which they relate;
c) contain a clear rationale;
d) identify any wording in the proposals that is ambiguous in its interpretation; and
e) include alternative proposals the IVSB should consider, if applicable.

In providing comments, not all questions need to be addressed. When answering a question, please provide sufficient detail and context for your comment. Comments are also welcomed when there is strong support for the proposal.
Please note that the IVSB is only able to accept comments on matters covered in Waste Topic Exposure Draft. And also, note that survey responses are a matter of public record and will be published on the Capitals Coalition website.
We welcome all feedback and encourage respondents to contact the IVSB Secretariat during the consultation period if they would like to discuss their comments or arrange a meeting.
All comments received during the public consultation will be reviewed by the IVSB Secretariat and considered by the IVSB in accordance with Sections 4.4 and 4.5 of the IVSB Due Process Protocol. Where appropriate, the Secretariat may engage with respondents to seek clarification or discuss their feedback. Following the consultation, a Basis for Conclusions will be published alongside the final document, summarizing the feedback received, how it informed the final document, and the rationale for significant decisions.
The questions refer to the Exposure Draft, available at this link.
