This survey aims to benchmark the adoption and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the asset management industry and support EFAMA’s policy and advocacy work in this area.
Participating firms will receive an individual benchmarking ‘scorecard’ comparing their responses against aggregated industry results, including insights on AI maturity, governance approaches, investment priorities, and key operational and regulatory challenges.
All responses will be treated as strictly confidential and fully anonymised. The survey may be completed by a single individual or collaboratively across multiple teams within the organisation.

Please note the following instructions before starting the survey:
• The survey can be completed in stages and resumed later from the same device/browser without losing responses
• Responses are automatically saved when progressing to the next page of the survey
• Firms wishing to complete the survey collaboratively across multiple colleagues or devices may request a personalised survey link from the EFAMA Secretariat (contact info below)
• All questions are optional in order to facilitate ease of completion
• Firms that are members of both EFAMA and ALFI will receive the survey invitation twice. In such cases, firms are kindly requested to coordinate internally and complete either the EFAMA or ALFI version of the survey, as only one set of responses is required for the purposes of this exercise
• Kindly note that this survey mainly targets asset management firms and investment management activities. Please answer the survey with a focus on your organisation’s asset management activities. Where your organisation forms part of a broader financial group (i.e. a banking group), please focus responses on the asset management business only. If your organisation operates across multiple entities or jurisdictions, you may respond at the level that is most practical and appropriate for your organisation
We would recommend that the survey be coordinated by the Head of AI, Head of Data, Chief Data Officer, or an equivalent senior function with a broad cross-organisational view of AI deployment within the organisation.
