Miura Cultural Exchange Teacher Survey

Council is assisting the city of Miura to select a new Cultural Exchange Representative/Assistant Language Teacher from Warrnambool. The role commences in April 2025 and will be based within Miura City Hall’s Board of Education.

Interested parties should:

Demonstrate a willingness to promote sister city relations between Warrnambool and Miura.
Have experience with (or understanding of) Japanese language, culture and customs.
Be willing to get a police check.
Be willing to get a working with children's check.

Teaching experience will be considered advantageous.

To qualify, candidates must have achieved one of the following:

(1) Graduated from a university

(2) Completed a vocational school (such as a language school) in Japan

(3) Have a teaching license
