The Wonders of Wellness Awards 2026

Wonders of Wellness Awards is a new program designed to celebrate innovative programs, technologies, workplace practices, and community experiences that support wellness and contribute to extending healthspan.

Brought to you by Mather Institute, we’re looking for your bold initiative or technology that are WOW! Tell us how they enhance communities, redefine wellness, or expand healthspan for today’s and tomorrow’s adults.

Visit our website to see examples of submissions for each category.

Application Information

APPLICATIONS DUE FRIDAY, JUNE 12, 2026

Submissions must provide documentation of demonstrated impact on wellness. Your WOW should have been implemented between April 2024 and April 2026.

Please provide as much detail as possible, including a clear explanation of your practice and evidence of its impact. Note that you will not be able to partially complete and return to the form. If you leave the form before hitting "Submit Application," you will need to start again.

At the end of the application, you will have an opportunity to attach supplemental documents. Include photos of the practice if applicable (with confirmation that you have rights to the images and signed approvals from subjects).

Judging Criteria

The Wonders of Wellness Awards are judged according to the following criteria:

  • Innovation: Describe the WOW! What is new and different about how you’re supporting wellness?
  • Impact: How does this innovation affect how people age well?
  • Ease of replication: Can the program or experience be replicated, scaled, or adapted across other settings with a reasonable investment of resources?
Final scores determine whether submissions receive Gold, Silver, or Bronze Awards.

If you have any questions about the awards application process, please contact Ajla Basic at WOW@mather.com
