Survey Introduction
The Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission's Equity Programming and Community Outreach (EPCO) Department is conducting this survey to better understand the effectiveness and impact of current Social Equity Program (SEP) benefits and to identify opportunities for future programmatic, policy, legislative, and regulatory improvements.
Feedback received through this survey will help inform future recommendations regarding cannabis equity initiatives, participant supports, workforce development, business sustainability, and long-term equitable participation within the Massachusetts regulated cannabis industry. The information gathered will assist the Commission in evaluating existing benefits, identifying emerging industry needs, and developing recommendations for future enhancements to equity-focused initiatives.
As part of this initiative, the EPCO Department will also host two virtual stakeholder engagement sessions via Zoom to provide stakeholders with an opportunity to further discuss survey findings, share experiences, and provide additional recommendations regarding the future evolution of Social Equity Program benefits.
Virtual Stakeholder Engagement Sessions:
- Virtual Working Group Session I: Wednesday, September 16, 2026, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
- Virtual Working Group Session II: Wednesday, October 14, 2026, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Additional information regarding these sessions, including meeting details and registration information, will be provided to interested participants following survey completion.
