SPE Workshop: Development and Utilisation of Underground Space
17–18 September 2026 | Harbin, China

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

The workshop will feature three core technical themes: construction and operation of natural gas underground storage; advancements in CO₂ flooding and storage technologies; and development of new-type underground storage (including other gases, oil, minerals, etc.). It will address critical challenges including subsurface uncertainty, storage capacity estimation, containment risks, regulatory and liability frameworks and economic viability.

Abstract Submission Deadline: Friday, 26 June 2026

This is the opportunity for you to share your technical expertise with an international audience. All abstracts will be reviewed by the Workshop Programme Committee for approval and acceptance prior to presentation slot confirmation in this workshop.
