Introduction

Thank you very much for taking part in the 2025 Democracy Network State of the Sector Survey earlier in April - You should be receiving your vouchers in your email inboxes this week.

The Democracy Network team were overjoyed to see the response we had to our earlier survey and the level of detail in your responses - so much so, we would like to take a step further and dig a little deeper into some of your answers.

We've drafted an extra set of 12 questions to explore some of the themes raised in your earlier answers. These answers will play a key role in our upcoming State of the Sector report, and we'd be delighted if you were willing to share your thoughts in this survey.

We want to be able to better understand the experiences and perceptions of participants to ensure the Network is responding to everyone's needs in an inclusive and accessible way. The information you provide will be kept strictly confidential. It will be used for statistical and research purposes only and will be stored securely. If you do not wish to provide a particular answer, please feel free to skip the question. You can also choose to answer the survey anonymously, however we will need your name and email address if you wish to receive a voucher. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your data, you can reach out to a member of our staff or email data@involve.org.uk. You can find a copy of Involve's privacy statement on our website at https://www.involve.org.uk/privacy-policy. If you have any concerns or complaints about how we are handling your data, please contact us at data@involve.org.uk, and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

Alternatively, you have the right to file a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office, the regulatory authority for data protection in the UK. Details on how to contact the Information Commissioner can be found on their website at https://ico.org.uk/.

This survey closes on the 17th June 2025.

Thank you!
