Session Proposal Information

IOLC session proposals should be structured for a 45-minute session. Your proposal should include no more than three speakers. Each session should include a 35-minute presentation and conclude with a 10-minute Q&A.
Proposed Session Title
Please provide a short description of 150 or fewer words of the proposed session.  This text should describe your session and promote its goals and takeaways.

IOLC Session Agreement
I understand that IOLC reserves the right to cancel sessions at any time for any reason, and that if my session is accepted, I am committing to my peers and to IOLC.

If my proposed session is accepted, I will:
  • Confirm my participation and that of my speakers for an in-person presentation promptly, and communicate all logistical and other information to session presenters.
  • Work with the planning committee to find replacement speakers if any of my initial collaborators need to withdraw.
  • Update my session description and any presentation-specific requests (room format, AV support, etc.) by the deadline.
  • Present the session at the conference on the date and time assigned, unless prevented by extraordinary circumstance.
  • Notify the IOLC staff of any changes in my ability to present the session as accepted.
  • Understand that IOLC speakers receive a complimentary registration. There is no travel assistance for speakers.
  • All IOLC sessions will be conducted in English.
