2027 SAR Conference - Call for Symposia & Workshops

Please complete the following form to submit your symposium/workshop suggestion to SAR's 2027 Conference Program Committee for consideration. The conference will be held at the Lord Baltimore Hotel, April 29 - May 2, 2027. Selected presenters, once confirmed, will be expected to register for and attend the conference in person. Virtual presentations will not be considered.

Symposia/workshop submissions will be considered and selected based on scientific and/or educational merit. Topics that relate to the conference theme will receive highest priority (Conference theme: "From Needles to Networks: Advancing Whole Person Health Through Acupuncture and Traditional East Asian Medicine"). Submissions should reflect high-quality research and address how findings inform evidence-based practice.

Please note: Symposia submissions must have between 3-5 presenters, each presenting different yet related talks. Each selected symposia will be allotted 1.5 hours total (presentations and time for Q & A). Workshop submissions may have two or more presenters, but will be allotted a total 2-hour timeframe (including Q&A) for a more hands-on format.
