The consultation process is launched as part of the High-Level Forum task, to collect input for the EC to consider when they prepare the 2027 Annual Union Work Programme (AUWP). HLF WS1 members have the opportunity to flag areas, in which they would encourage the European Commission to issue Standardisation Requests.
NB: these proposals must have a specific link to an EU policy and/or legislation.
The High-Level Forum recommendations will be conveyed to the European Commission and be part of the European Commission's overall preparation process. The final decision on what will be published in the AUWP will remain with the European Commission
