General Submission

Deadline for submission: Friday, August 21, 2026

Overview:
The Florida Academy of Family Physicians (FAFP) is dedicated to providing impactful, evidence-based continuing medical education that supports Family Medicine physicians and healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care. Through engaging and clinically relevant educational programming, FAFP strives to enhance knowledge, strengthen clinical performance, address practice gaps, and support lifelong professional development.

FAFP welcomes topic proposals from both members and non-members for consideration by the FAFP Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committee. We invite you to share your expertise, innovative ideas, and practical insights as we develop our 2027 CME programming.

Topic Review and Selection Process:

All submissions will be reviewed by the CPD Committee and evaluated based on identified educational needs, practice gaps, and relevance to Family Medicine
.
The CPD Committee reserves the right to modify submissions as needed, including editing titles or learning objectives, recommending alternate speakers, combining similar topics, or selecting portions of a proposal for inclusion in the program.
Notification: only selected speakers and proposals will be contacted directly by the FAFP regarding next steps and participation opportunities.

Submission Tips:
Provide meaningful detail. Strong proposals clearly outline the educational value of the session and demonstrate how the content will meet the needs of FAFP learners.
Think forward. Priority will be given to timely, innovative, and practice-changing topics that encourage learners to enhance patient care and clinical outcomes. Consider emerging issues, evolving guidelines, interdisciplinary approaches, and other relevant topics not recently presented at FAFP CME events.

Please submit each topic proposal individually, and feel free to submit multiple ideas for consideration. Thank you for contributing to the success of FAFP’s educational programs.
