2026 CAPHIA Award Nominations - CAPHIA Medal
The CAPHIA Medal recognises sustained, exemplary, and transformative contributions to public health education in Australasia. The award honours individuals who have demonstrated long-term strategic leadership, strengthened capability across the field, and advanced equity-oriented, evidence-informed public health education.
Nominees may work within or beyond traditional unversity settings but must demonstrate substantial impact on public health education systems, standards, or workforce development over time.
Award recipients will receive:
A scholarship for the CAPHIA 2027 Teaching and Learning Forum.
Recognition in official CAPHIA communications and at the 2026 Teaching and Learning Forum.
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates must be affiliated with and actively involved in a CAPHIA member organisation.
There is no limit to the number of submissions from a CAPHIA member institution.
Nominations may be submitted either by a third party or by the nominee themselves.
