Become a Chapter Peer Mentor!
Chapters across the Internet Society community benefit from connecting with experienced peers who can offer practical insight and guidance. Whether a chapter is forming, expanding its activities, navigating leadership transitions, or refining its operations, your experience can make a meaningful difference.
Chapter Peer Mentors are current or former chapter leaders — or individuals with demonstrated experience in a relevant topic area — who are open to being contacted directly by fellow chapters and willing to offer peer guidance on an informal, self-directed basis. We encourage volunteers who can reasonably commit to being responsive and engaged when chapters reach out for support.
Serving as a Peer Mentor is also an opportunity to further develop your leadership and interpersonal skills within a global and multicultural community.
Please note: By volunteering, your name, chapter affiliation, areas of expertise, and email address will be shared publicly with chapter leaders seeking peer support. Mentorship connections take place directly between mentors and chapters, without staff involvement.
