We welcome your interest in a scholarship for this year's NCCHC Spring Conference taking place in New Orleans, LA April 18-21, 2026. We are offering 15 scholarships. Each scholarship includes full conference registration 4/20-4/21, lodging (up to 3 nights), and air travel expenses up to $500. Scholarships will only be considered for residents of the US or Canada.

The NCCHC Foundation Scholarship program was launched in 2020 with generous support from individuals and organizations in our field. We are grateful for these champions of correctional health care! To-date over 250 scholarships have been awarded.

Scholarships are awarded through a highly competitive review process. To ensure your application receives full consideration, it is essential that all required fields are completed, including the essay questions. Your essays are a critical part of the review. This is your opportunity to thoughtfully express why you see yourself in correctional health care, what draws you to this work, and why it matters to you personally and professionally. Reviewers are looking for insight, reflection, and clarity of purpose. Essays are limited to 700 words. Brief or one-sentence responses do not provide sufficient detail and are not appropriate for a competitive application.

Each application must be fully completed to be considered. Each cycle, we see hundreds of applications started but not completed, which makes them ineligible for review. If you need to return to complete your application, please use the same email address you originally entered. You may access your application from any device using the resume link sent to your email. Be sure to return, finish all required sections, and submit your application before the deadline.
