This competition is for respiratory health professionals from a recognized clinically based discipline (e.g., registered nurse, nurse practitioner; physiotherapist; respiratory therapist; pharmacist; cardio-pulmonary technologist; polysomnographic technologist; kinesiologist; dietician; occupational therapist; social worker; or psychologist). MDs are not eligible.

One grant that aligns with both the missions of the Canadian Lung Association (CLA) and the Canadian Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Foundation (CAAIF) may be jointly funded by both charities.
