Outline of the program

The WEST Mentoring Program helps mentees work toward their goals through dynamic non-traditional mentoring. This approach provides multiple perspectives, from mentors and peers, to deliver focused action plans.

Description

To provide an empowering and enriching experience accounting for diverse priorities, mentees will be matched based on their chosen topics and preselected impactful topics. The program includes a kickoff/training session for all on 9/10 then five (5) sessions on 9/17, 10/8, 10/29, 11/19, 12/10. All sessions are 6-8pm via Zoom. Total interactive time commitment is 12 hours over 6 meetings. Additional details can be found here https://www.westorg.org/2026-mentoring-program

Each session will have a core pod meeting and small group topic based discussions. In the core pod, the general topic for the whole program will be set from the beginning and the same group will meet each session.

In the small group topic based discussions, mentors will address the predetermined topics with 1-3 mentees. Mentors and mentees will know the topic ahead of the session.
