2026 Patron Housing Survey

Thank you for considering acting as an artist host for Union Avenue Opera. Your generosity in this way means a great deal to UAO, and a special benefit is that we find that many of our artists form life-long friendships with their hosts. We are most grateful to you for hosting one of our beloved artists.

To help us learn more about your space please complete the following survey. Completing the survey does not lock you in to being a host. We will reach out to discuss your space and prior to placing an artist with you for the summer.
1.Housing for Union Avenue Opera artists is approximately 4 weeks. Please select the dates you are available to house an artist. (Select all that apply). We will not house artists overlapping, but we do have different needs for each show.(Required.)
2.How many artist are you able to house at one time?(Required.)
3.If multiple artists, would each have a separate bedroom and bathroom?
4.Please describe the bedroom/bathroom facilities available to the artist. (What size of bed is available? Is the bathroom attached or accessed through a hallway? Etc.)
5.Do you prefer a male or female artist?(Required.)
6.Are there smokers in your home?(Required.)
7.Are there small children in your home?(Required.)
8.Are there pets in your home? (Required.)
9.If yes, please list the quantity and types of pet in your home and anything else we should know about them.
10.Is their a piano in your home? (not a deal breaker, we have plenty at UAO)(Required.)

12.Is your home air-conditioned?(Required.)
13.Should the artist be prepared to bring any special items with them? (pillows, sheets, towels, etc)
14.Would you be open to an artist's spouse or significant other visiting during their stay? (This is a visit, not the full duration of their stay.)
15.Do you have a spare car you'd be willing to loan an artist who was housed with you? While most artists arrive with a car, we try to house artists without cars within 2 miles of UAO.
16.Are there any considerations we should take into account when placing an artist in your home or anything else you would like us to know?
