**The River Fund Maine Trade Scholar Application CLOSES May 11 at 10 PM**

TRFM Scholarships are community scholarships focused on enabling local youth to achieve their educational and career-oriented aspirations.

River Fund Maine Trade Scholarships
The recipients will receive a scholarship in the amount of $10,000 for a one-year program or $20,000 for a two-year program to support the attainment of an associates degree (that is NOT intended to for classes to then transfer to a four-year college or university for a bachelor's degree) or equivalent technical college diploma or certificate.

This scholarship money shall be intended to cover tuition, room and board, and tools, supplies or books needed for classes. This scholarship is renewable annually for a total of two years based on GPA and general good standing. The River Fund Maine encourages the Trade Scholar recipients to envision and prepare themselves for a career in the trades or technical fields. The objective of the scholarship is to provide continued learning by preparing students for acquiring and improving workplace skills that will lead them to a fulfilling and rewarding career, not just a job.

This scholarship is open to 2026 high school graduates.
Applicants must reside in and attend school in the MSAD 44 or RSU 10 school districts.

You will need to upload the first page of your parent(s)'s 2024 or 2025 1040 form tax return* OR Student Aid Index (SAI) from the FAFSA
Please be sure to have one of these two forms before you start the application.
*For the tax return, you must be listed as the dependent. And please make sure ALL social security numbers are crossed or blacked out.
