The International Vaccine Institute (IVI) offers fellowships to participants from low- and middle-income countries who would otherwise be unable to attend the International Vaccinology Course (IVC). A limited number of fellowships are awarded on a competitive basis to individuals demonstrating financial need, leadership potential, and meaningful contributions to public health in their home countries. These fellowships are a core component of the course and reflect IVI’s mission and values.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be from a low- or middle-income country (LMIC) including: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belize, Benin, Bhutan, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Cambodia, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, China, Colombia, Comoros, Congo, Dem. Rep., Congo, Rep., Cote d'Ivoire, Cuba, Djibouti, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Arab Rep., El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Fiji, Gabon, Gambia, The, Georgia, Ghana, Grenada, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Iran, Islamic Rep., Iraq, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kiribati, Korea, Dem. - Applicants should show strong leadership potential.
- Applicants should have a career focus in vaccinology.
- Applicants must be proficient in the English language.
- Applicants are required to select the IVC site nearest to their point of travel origin (ie. Kigali, Rwanda; Seoul, South Korea; Stockholm, Sweden).
- Incomplete applications and applicants with multiple submissions (ie. multiple e-mails, site locations) will be removed from the application pool.
Please be advised that this form does not allow for saving progress once the window is closed. Applicants will be required to complete six long-answer questions and submit the following materials: a poster presentation abstract, a curriculum vitae (CV), and two letters of recommendation. We strongly encourage all applicants to prepare these documents in advance before beginning the application process.
