Scholarship applicants must meet each of the following requirements during the Fall and Spring semesters of the 2025/2026 academic year:
Scholarship applicants must meet each of the following requirements during the Fall and Spring semesters of the 2025/2026 academic year:
- Be African American or of African American Descent or ancestry
- Enrolled in a Vocational Certificate Program or an Incoming Freshman, or a college Sophomore/Junior/Senior or a Graduate School student
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above
- Personal Statement - All applicants are required to submit a 500 to 1000-word essay that demonstrates aptitude, desire, commitment, and tenacious desire to succeed.
Note: Not required to be a Fresno Housing resident or receiving housing assistance from FH

Transcripts and proof of registration must be from your school or program and clearly show your name and the school year or term to verify your documents.
