This award is given annually to a physician who has worked beyond the profession, educated local and state legislators, and diligently advocated to improve the health and welfare of Florida’s children.

The Selection Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2026 recipient of this award. Current FCAAP members may submit nominations. All nominations must include:

a one-page bio sketch of the nominee, and
a summary of no more than two pages describing the nominee’s advocacy services for children in Florida.

Nominations for the 2026 recipient must be submitted to FCAAP via this form no later than 5:00pm EST on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
