2026 Business Excellence Award Nominations

Calling all exceptional businesses and individuals! Do you know a business that has demonstrated exceptional leadership, resilience, and sustainability in the face of challenges? Do you know an individual who has dedicated their time and talents to improving the lives of Clermont County residents? If so, we encourage you to nominate them for a Clermont Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award.

The awards will be presented during the Clermont Chamber's Annual Meeting on Friday, February 20, 2026, 11:30 am-1:30 pm, at the Oasis Conference Center in Loveland. Our region's leaders will gather together to salute the best of our region's many outstanding businesses and individuals.

Nominations must be received by Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025.

The Edward J. Parish Pacesetter Award
The Pacesetter Award was established in 1975 by the Clermont Chamber to honor an outstanding Clermont County businessperson who has contributed to the economic vitality of Clermont County, who has a genuine concern for the welfare of Clermont County and its residents, and who has exhibited outstanding character, citizenship, and leadership. The award was renamed in 1993 to take on its current title, the Edward J. Parish Pacesetter Award. As Chamber President for 17 years, Mr. Parish was perhaps the biggest advocate Clermont County ever had. He was a man of vision, a tireless spirit, and a great community leader.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- A living person who is a member of the business community
- Performs services for the county, which is voluntary, continued and devoted in nature and/or promotes a business culture in which community support is encouraged
- Has attained professional, business or civic distinction at local, state, national or international levels
- Has had multiple leadership positions within business and civic organizations
- Has achieved accomplishments which have brought favorable attention to the community and/or business

The Martha Dorsey Pacesetter Award
Established by the Chamber in 2001, this award is in honor of former Clermont County Commissioner Martha Dorsey. The Martha Dorsey Pacesetter Award is presented to a public servant – elected or appointed who represents Clermont County, has demonstrated leadership that has improved the economic vitality of Clermont County, and whose accomplishments have brought favorable attention to the community.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- A public servant (elected or non-elected) that represented Clermont County
- A person whose demonstrated leadership improved the economic vitality of Clermont County
- A person whose accomplishments have brought favorable attention to the community

Business Woman of the Year Award
Recognizing a woman who excels by promoting professional excellence for women, being an outstanding personal or business leader and who participates in community, civic, or other charitable organizations.

Business Excellence Award - Large Business
Recognizing a large business (more than 50 employees) which, in a given year, has made a significant contribution to the overall good of the community through relevance, resilience and sustainability.

Business Excellence Award - Small Business
Recognizing a small business (less than 50 employees) which, in a given year, has made a significant contribution to the overall good of the community through relevance, resilience and sustainability.

Emerging Business of the Year Award
Recognizing a business for leveraging leadership and an entrepreneurial spirit that is positioned for substantial growth in the near future.
