Healthcare is experiencing an increase in needs from an aging population. At the same time interest in many of the careers that support doctors and nurses are seeing enrollment declines and lack of interest. The St. Louis Metropolitan Hospital Council (SLMHC) is partnering with EdPlus and DESE to provide a day of learning and development for teachers to understand the vast variety of careers available for students today in healthcare – way beyond nurses and doctors.
