PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS WHEN FILLING OUT THE APPLICATION. YOU SHOULD ALLOW 30 TO 45 MINUTES TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION PROCESS.

The IPSA scholarship program was created to benefit the future of the Agricultural industry by supporting and encouraging the education of future Ag professionals.

IPSA awards scholarships up to $4,000 annually based on the number of applicants.

IPSA considers both high school seniors as well as active college students.
  • You must be majoring in an Agriculture related degree to be considered. No non-agriculture major applicants will be considered, even with an agriculture background.
  • Preference will be given to individuals with a connection to IPSA Member Seed Companies.
  • Preference will be given to Crop Science (Agronomy, Crop, Soil, Engineering) and Business fields (Agriculture Business, Economics, Marketing) over Animal Science fields.
Selection will be based on a combination of academic achievement, community and agricultural involvement.

All applications will be reviewed by the IPSA Scholarship Awards Committee and the Board of Directors of the Independent Professional Seed Association.

Finalists for the IPSA Scholarships must be available for a Zoom-based interview with the IPSA Scholarship Awards Committee.

Awards will be presented at the IPSA Annual Conference in January 2026; travel arrangements will be handled by IPSA.

  1. Complete application in full. Complete contact information is required for consideration. Also, please look at each question and give full answers. Answer Boxes do expand to include as much information as possible in order for you to influence our judging committee.
  2. Attach the following files at the end of the application:
    • Most recent student transcript
    • Two (2) reference letters with contact information (phone number and email)
  3. Apply by the April 30, 2025 deadline.
