Join us for Washington Women's Foundation's 26th year of grantmaking!
Our Pooled Fund Grants support five areas: Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Health, and Human Services. Fueled by the combined strength of member giving, Washington Women’s Foundation makes five annual Pooled Fund Grants of up to $100,000, one grant in each funding area. These transformational grants help nonprofits increase equity and reduce disparities in Washington State. And, because the Washington Women’s Foundation’s grantmaking process is respected for its rigorous analysis and intensive member involvement, a grant from us often serves as a catalyst for leveraging other foundation grants and individual donations.
All Foundation members are invited to participate on the Grant Committee - no experience necessary! The committee researches organizations for the Pooled Fund ballot that the entire membership votes on in June. Through a set of workshops and meetings starting in January, members analyze proposals, engage in discussion, and conduct site visits as part of their work.
