The Metcalf Institute Annual Science Immersion Workshop for Journalists is designed for professional journalists from all media who want to gain hands-on experience in scientific research and improve their knowledge of environmental science and their skills in science and environmental reporting.

Fellowships support journalists who have a demonstrated interested in science and environment/climate reporting with minimal or no science background, and who will significantly benefit from learning about scientific methods and developing contacts and story ideas related to climate change in coastal environments.
