This survey is intended to gather information related to volunteer behaviour based on people's reactions to the political landscape.
We are seeing changes in levels of civic engagement (of which volunteerism is one facet) in the past few months. This survey is intended to explore whether changes are happening within volunteer activity, and if so, are they:
  • related to political motivations/elections
  • short-term or long-term
  • isolated to impacting certain organizations/causes or widespread
  • sparking new volunteer activity in people without previous volunteer activity or changing how current volunteers are involved
The survey is divided into two audiences: individuals and non-profit organizations. By surveying both groups, we will hopefully have a full 360 degree view of the motivations, intentions and outcomes of any shifts.
Thank you in advance for your time in completing this survey. Results will be shared publicly in the coming months- however a space to add your email has also been provided for anyone wanting to be provided a copy of the findings directly.
