Welcome to the 2017 Madrid and Barcelona Fairs

Thank you for your interest in recruiting in Spain! Did you know there has been a 42% increase in student mobility from Spain to the U.S. over the last five years?  Spain is an important country for recruitment at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, and we look forward to introducing you to the talented and highly motivated students there. Events will begin in Madrid on Monday, March 27, 2017 with a country briefing, the fair and school visits.  Participants will move on to Barcelona on Tuesday, March 28 for the fair, and an optional school visits.  The full Program Guide can be downloaded here. The schedule will be refined over the coming weeks.  You can expect between 300-500 highly talented and interested students during each fair. Following the events in Spain, we encourage you to participate in the Portugal fairs. This year we are adding a fair in Porto where we anticipate high student engagement.  Participants can travel from Barcelona to Porto on Wednesday, March 29.   The tour will move on to Lisbon for the fair which we host in collaboration with Futuralia.  This is a major event in Lisbon which has been very successful in past years and our EducationUSA pavilion attracted over 300 students last year. This year we are offering more time at the Futuralia Exhibition in addition to the EducationUSA Fair held on Saturday, April 1 within Futuralia.   A separate fair registration for Portugal is available here.

The cost for participating in the Spain events is $700 per city if you register before January 30, 2017. After that date, the cost is $800. Further details can be found below. We look forward to your participation!
