Welcome to the 2017 EducationUSA Portugal Fairs

Thank you for your interest in recruiting in Portugal! We're excited to add the beautiful city of Porto to this year's Portugal recruitment offerings in addition to the EducationUSA Fair in Lisbon which is held in collaboration with Futuralia.  Futuralia hosts a large four-day Education fair in Lisbon every year which attracts 10,000 students throughout the event. The EducationUSA fair, which will take place on Saturday afternoon, April 1, 2017, will be held within the EducationUSA Pavilion at Futuralia, and will be an event for U.S.-accredited higher education representatives exclusively. In addition, this year you can choose to have a table during feature periods within Futuralia to promote your institution during the Futuralia exhibition.  You can expect a high turnout of students during the exclusive fair period as well as during Futuralia itself. In Porto, as this is the first year, it is difficult to anticipate numbers, but we expect a similar number if not more. Events in Portugal include optional secondary or university visits and a country briefing, along with the fairs.  Arrival in Porto is on Wednesday morning, March 29 and  events continue through Saturday, April 1.  The full Program Guide can be found here. The Portugal fairs are part of the Iberia Tour which begins in Madrid on March 27 and continues to Barcelona on March 28. There is a separate registration for the Spain fairs.

The Early Bird cost for participating in both Portugal events is $1,100 which is a discounted rate if you register for both Lisbon and Porto. If you prefer to select individual cities, the Lisbon fair is $700 this year which includes your choice of one additional three-hour feature period at Futuralia along with the fair itself.  The Porto Fair is $500.00.  Registration must be made by January 30, 2017. After that date, regular registration rates apply.  Further details can be found below. We look forward to seeing you!
