Ability To:
1. Do estimating and inspection work, to include foundations, on all types of bridges, major structures, or transportation-related buildings using engineering and construction methods in order to meet project delivery deadlines.
2. Plan and direct the work of a group of engineering, technical, and administrative staff in the office or out in the field on various engineering projects to meet departmental goals and objectives.

17. Do mapping and drafting computations in order to make accurate calculations as related to engineering projects.
18. Interpret design plans, specifications, etc. in order to properly design, construct, and maintain on all types of bridges, major structures, or transportation-related buildings.
19. Make neat and accurate engineering computations and notes on all types of bridges, major structures, or transportation-related buildings.
20. Make independent decisions related to analyzing and solve complex design, construction, and maintenance engineering problems that relate to bridges, buildings, and transportation-related structures in order to minimize and mitigate impacts and meet project deadlines.
