Assisted Reproductive Technology Standards - Consumer Survey

Have your say

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) is seeking your views on the initial draft of the National Safety and Quality Standards for Assisted Reproductive Technology Services (the Standards).

The Commission creates standards to support everyone in Australia to get high-quality care.

As part of wider reform into the Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) sector, we have been asked to develop new national standards. The Standards will apply to all ART service providers.
.
For this survey, we will refer to all ART service providers as "fertility clinics".
.
Fertility clinics help with:
  • support in having children
  • in vitro fertilisation (IVF)
  • embryo, egg, or sperm freezing
  • embryo, egg, or sperm donation
  • surrogacy
.
