2015 Young Professionals Scholarship

Welcome to the ACORD Young Professionals Scholarship Application

We appreciate your interest in ACORD and our scholarship program.

Our goal is to help those new to the industry better understand and appreciate the role of ACORD as well as to help young professionals network with seasoned ACORD professionals.

Please note that this scholarship application contains short essays questions so please allot the appropriate time to complete this application.

Short essay questions include:

1.Please tell us about your current role within your organization.

2.How do you see your position fitting into the general insurance value chain? How do you interact with other parts of the chain?

3.From your perspective, what is the importance of ACORD and the value of using standards (including standardized forms)in your organization and in the insurance industry overall?

4.How will technology transform the industry in the next five years? What technologies will have the biggest impact?

5.If you could change one thing about the way the industry does business, what would it be and why?

6.If you were able to be a presenter or panelist at ACORD2015, what would you say to your industry colleagues and your Young Professional peers?
