Introduction

2% of survey complete.
This survey is part of a study that Copenhagen Economics is conducting on behalf of the European Commission. The study is called "State of play of the EU parcel market with particular emphasis on e-commerce". The purpose of the study is to investigate how domestic and cross-border delivery services can be improved to best serve the needs of e-retailers (retailers selling products online) and e-shoppers (customers buying products online).

The survey is distributed among e-retailers of different sizes across the EU. It contains questions about your experience with e-commerce driven delivery (i.e. delivery of products sold online to customers in their own or other countries). All individual answers will be treated as confidential. Only aggregated results will be published in the report.

The survey is split into four parts:
Part 1: Company information
Part 2: Delivery of products sold online
Part 3: Actually chosen delivery options
Part 4: The role of delivery

This survey is a way for you as an e-retailer to inform the Commission about your needs and preferences and about the state of delivery services in your country. The results will indicate in which countries/regions that delivery can be improved and what countries/regions that can serve as examples of best practice. The results will serve as input to the Commission and its future policy decisions within this area.

The survey consists of 30 questions. Most questions are of single or multiple choice type. This makes the survey less time consuming. The total time requirement is approximately 15 minutes.
